Tactile Texture
I used glitter of various color for her hair, feathers for her eye lashes, and a mesh for the glove part. I painted the mesh violet but you couldnt really see the color on it. When I glue it to papaer (using clear liquid glue) the color started to blend with the glue and I deceided to leave it like that. Now, for the face I only painted because I thought it was gonna be just too much. To obtain the skin color I mixed yellow with red to make the yellow orange and then I added white. To get the lip color I mixed red and white to make a pink color. And for the eyebrows I used the orange with black.
Triadic Paiting (Music)
Its based on song "Satisfaction" by Benny Benazy. It reminds me of bouncy balls. The colors I chose to work with was Yellor Orange, Red violet, and Green Blue. The colors didnt come out as I was hoping but I did my best.

Branching Out with Shading
The assigment was to design a simple landscape that featured a tree with personality. The requirement was to show the branches textures by shading in order to make the tree look three dimensional. Im not sure if this counts as a lanscape but Im happy with the overall result.
Bottle Lanscapes
The assigment was to create a contour line drawing of overlapping bottles. It's amazing how the position of the bottles can change the whole perspective of the drawing.

Positive/Negative Project (Big Size)
The goal was to choose a magazine picture and use positive/negative processes to cream the same image. It was really hard for me to have the nerve and do it. I think it looks pretty cool and I was even surprised and amazed by the way it came out.

Morphing Animals Project
#11 Roller Coaster Contrast
My objective was to create at least six continuous bands and create light with pencil shading. I quite didnt know if I have to shade the entire band or just some parts. So I deceided to just shade some parts to creative more movement of light.
#7 Pencil Shading
My objective was to make a flat picture come to live by shading. The second picture is my first try. The first one is my final one. I added a few more shading to the side of some flowers. I know you cant see the first picture really well but I took it with my phone. My scanner died :( Any way, I think it looks good because the shading makes it seem like if the flowers where moving when I took the picture.

Echoes
I started with a line and I echo it. Then I began playing with my pens and this is the product. Its quite impressive how a bunch of abstract lines can make something look so clean

Remdios Varo Inspiration
Maria de los Remedios Alicia Rodriga Vayo y Uranga was born in Parana, Argentina On December 16, 1908. She was involved on the Surrealist movement which was ruled by men back then. She was influnced by her dad who was an engineer who worked in the middle of the night with his ruler, triangle, and set square drawings dams and networks of canals. The first time I saw her work was when I was in 9th grade back in Mexico and it was in the cover of two of my school book, Geography and Chemestry. I saw this heart-shaped, large and lonely eye person on my book and it immediatlety brought me a glimpse of my dreams when I was a kid. I looked on the back of the book and saw her name. Instantly, I researched for all her work and as I suspected it had most of all the characters on my dreams. She was a loner, just like me. She would get all of her inspitation at night, just like me. Most of her work is based on Constellations and the Zodian and my life is pretty much based on that too.
This was the cover of my Geography book.
This other one was my Chemistry book cover.
